You need that to just walk across the bridge to the cemetery, Devere? Maybe he’ll explain why he’s bringing out his trusty unicorn. XP Also I’ll give a bit more info about said unicorn with the next page.

Minor detail but I’ve been aiming to make the chickens look a little jungle fowl-ish in shape, or at least like a hybrid between jungle fowls and normal chickens, and I just do whatever with the colors. Because they’re fantasy world chickens I wanted them to come off a bit unique looking. I probably could’ve made them a few degrees weirder but eh…

Devere, having walked off the porch, proceeds towards the barn while pulling his hood up over his head.
Devere: Now wait there.
Knell (still on the bench): Huh? Aren't we goin'?
Devere: Yes, I just need to get one more thing.

Knell leans forwards on the bench and rests her face against her hands, looking irritated about the continued delays. We now see there was a bag sitting beside her on the bench.
Knell: Ugh. What else is there?!
Knell then more quietly says: If I just left now, would he really care?
Suddenly a gray chicken walks up, confused by Knell.
Chicken: Brk brk?

Knell looks down at the chicken.
Knell: Hey, Miss Chicken. I'm glad you're not a spider... or a rat.
Chicken: Brrk

Knell stares towards the direction that Devere went to.

A closeup of her eye widening in surprise at what she now sees there.
Knell: Gasp!

Devere walks back towards her with a very large, light greenish gray unicorn with dark gray mane. It's fitted with a brown saddle and he's leading it by the reins. It has a huge, curved horn and black hooves akin to a reindeer's.
Knell leaps up in happy excitement.
Knell: Eeee~!
