Knell

Devere: You don’t have to be so afraid of me, you know.
Also Devere: I want everyone to be afraid of me.

Devere’s house has a porch on both sides, this is the other side we didn’t see.
Some notable details: A barn, chickens (don’t ask me what kind they’re fantasy world chickens haha), and an animal bone wind chime. XP

That insect has been around since the earliest drafts of this story. It’s called a Lightwing, and it’s something of a butterfly and moth combo, but glowy. :3 I’m still trying to figure out how best to color/render it.

And don’t ask me what Devere used for the makeshift bag shoes there. I imagined the brown wrappings being leather maybe, the bottom part…I dunno. XD
