About the Comic
KNELL is a dark fantasy story about found family.
In another world not so unlike ours where magic is a part of life, a young girl named Knell has lived a troubled childhood, but finds comfort and protection from an unexpected source – the town necromancer Devere Berrick. A story about how wonderful and terrible both people, and life, can be.
This comic contains potentially graphic imagery and dark subject matter.

About the Artist/Author
Sarah Nelson has been dabbling in digital art for many years, particularly comics. When she does the writing of said comics she seems to specialize in horror and the just plain weird, though isn’t a stranger to drawing comedy and action as well.
Having started in the webcomic world in the late ’90s by making Dragon Ball Z fancomics by hand and scanning them, Sarah went on to various, experimental webcomics and finally settled on Vampire Phantasm, which, while it was a learning experience, could not be developed in a way that she enjoyed. Remnants of it are still around.
Sarah then collaborated with Nick Stroffolino on Cwen’s Quest for a time while also starting up her second take on vampires, DANIEL, which she finished in 2020! Knell is one of her newer comic projects (though won’t be near as long as Daniel), alongside The Devil’s Trill that is also currently ongoing.
Sarah intends to continue to tell stories through comics until she runs out of creative juice or her arms fall off.
