Knell does have a bed and some belongings in the house but she spends a lot of time outdoors (to get away or because fuck face makes her 😞), so this is her little private area near her home.

ANNOUNCEMENT!
Over at Patreon I posted the final page of Chapter 1 of Knell. However, unlike Devil’s Trill, Knell has no real buffer for Patreon, which means when I update there, I make a page and post it up immediately, which is kind of more stressful for me. I still post nothing during breaks because I don’t work with large enough buffers to do otherwise (building huge buffers would take years so I ain’t doing that), but having a small buffer allows me to make edits to finished pages with less urgency, post previews during downtime, etc.

What I’m saying is THERE WILL BE A PAUSE ON KNELL UPDATES so I can build up a couple page buffer. Since I only intend to get a couple pages ahead, it shouldn’t take VERY long, but I’ll probably keep up Devil’s Trill updates as well (I guess? Kinda debating putting it on hold too so I can get ahead with Knell quicker but not really sure yet), so between that and any breaks I might take, it could be a few weeks.

I wish I could’ve paused when the chapter was finished here at the main site but I need to keep my site buffer as well so patrons stay ahead! XD

As always everyone, thank you all so much for reading, and updates will resume soon! And when Patreon Knell updates start happening again, patrons will get the start of chapter 2!

Knell walks away from the cabin while rubbing away liquid from under her nose. She has tears in her eyes but looks angry.
Knell: ...Like you'd give me much anyway. *sniff*

Knell walks towards a nearby wooded area. We see the axe that Tyrus stuck into the tree stump behind her.

Knell has walked into a lovely little area with a large, but hollow tree that she's apparently turned into a little fort as there's makeshift curtains covering the hole. There's mushrooms on the side of the tree. Nearby is a couple of very large rocks covered in melted candles and surrounded by blue mushrooms. There's also a circle of rocks with an area for lighting a fire, and a fabric-covered log for sitting near it. Light is shining through the leaves, leaving a lovely sunlight pattern all over everything. This is clearly Knell's secret refuge.

Knell pushes aside the curtains to the tree opening, smiling as she looks inside.
