2023 is ending now, and it’s been a really tough year for me since I lost my Dad in January and this first Christmas without him is going to be a somber one, but my family and I got through it somehow (flew by like a hazy nightmare), and now for 2024 I just demand miracles. A series of wonderful miracles.

Anyway another quick note on this page: Some of us English-speakers may see/hear “Oh la la” and think it means like “Oh that’s sexy” or “Oh that’s fancy” or something, but apparently in France it’s more of an exclamation of surprise or bewilderment, like “Oh jeez”.
